Which? Old to Ancient. At least 50 years old. The Civil War Era is nice.
Family groups, weddings, portraits. Candid shots, indoors or outside, depicting the lifestyles.
Show your history.
Include Information if known: Who it is, when & where taken. Your name.
Captions optional, but desirable.
Scanning: Preferred file format is .PNG. But I can read any standard graphics file.
Nick Shrauger uses Adobe Photoshop to scan photos as (Kodak) .pcds, 16 million colors, even for B&W.
I figure to change my .jpg's to .png's. Or better yet, scan the photos as .png. .Jpg tends to color bleed
drift, adding texture where none is wanted.
File size: If you send them to Jerise by Email file attached, the upper limit is about 1.5 MB.
.Pcd file size is large; Nick's ran 4 MB. A collection of .Pcds can be written on CD-ROM for mailing.
